Gathering Peascods

Englantilainen maalaistanssi pareille piirissä. Tanssissa on kolme säännöllistä säkeistöä ja toistuva kertosäe. Säkeistöt sisältävät turnin, kertosäkeet piirissä pyörimistä ja taputuksia.

Tanssi

I säkeistö (double)

• 2 doublea vasemmalle ja pyörähdys vasemman olan ympäri doublella
• sama oikealle

Kertosäe (piirit ja taputukset)

• Miehet: double eteenpäin, piirissä käsistä kiinnipitäen double vasemmalle, double taaksepäin uusien naisten väliin
• Naiset: sama, pitäisi päätyä oman parin viereen

• Miehet: double eteenpäin, viimeisellä askeleella taputus
• Miehet: double taaksepäin, samalla naiset: double eteenpäin ja taputus
• Naiset: double taaksepäin, samalla miehet: double eteenpäin (ei taputusta)
• Miehet: kääntyvät ja double takaisin oman parin viereen

Taputukset uudestaan miesten ja naisten roolit vaihdettuina.

II säkeistö (siding)

• siding vasemmalle oman parin kanssa ja pyörähdys vasemman olan ympäri
• sama oikealle

Kertosäe

• Kuten ensimmäinen kertosäe, mutta sukupuolten roolit vaihdettuina eli naiset tekevät kaiken ensin.

III säkeistö (arming)

• arming (oikea käsi) oman parin kanssa ja pyörähdys vasemman olan ympäri
• sama vasemmalla kädellä ja oikean olan ympäri

• 8 Two doubles to the left
• 4 Left turn
• 8 Two doubles to the right
• 4 Right turn

Chorus 1

• 12 Lords double forward (4) take hands and circle clockwise (4) and double back (4)
• 12 Ladies double forward (4) take hands and circle clockwise (4) and double back (4) ending back next to their partner
• 4 Lords double forward and clap
• 4 Lords double back while Ladies double forward and clap
• 4 Ladies double back while Lords double forward and fake a clap to fool others to clap
• 4 Lords turn around and double back to their places in circle
• 16 Repeat the doubles and claps, but with ladies starting, and doing the fake-out

Verse 2

• 8 Left siding with partner
• 4 Left turn
• 8 Right siding with partner
• 4 Right turn

Chorus 2

• 12 Ladies double forward (4) take hands and circle clockwise (4) and double back (4)
